New MacBook Pros
I like the new MacBook Pros, they look great and have alot of new power inside them. I’m also really excited for the new trackpad. If I get past the next month without buying one, I may still have my current laptop for another 2 years.
However besides that I get really annoyed at pundits or people trying to be pundits about Apple when they release new stuff. There are the fan boys and...

Mark-to-market
I’ve been hearing ‘mark-to-market’ alot over the last two or three weeks, but just finally checked it out on Wikipedia. The initial description is a tad fuzzy, so here’s the simple example mercifully provided…
Example: If an investor owns 100 shares of a stock purchased for $40 per share, and that stock now trades at $60, the “mark-to-market” value of...
Cabs
Our cab ride from Heathrow to Clerkenwell earlier today was £85 ($149) for 17.9 miles. Compare to $50 ($45 flat fare and a fiver tip) for a typical JFK to Times Square (17.9 (weird right?) miles) cab ride in New York. The cabs in Tokyo are supposed to be even more expensive (Rumors were $300 from Narita to downtown Tokyo), but we only took two for very short distances.
Hey Everyone!
I’m in London now! I should be taking more pictures and experiencing more, um, experiences to post here soon. For now, faster updates will happen via Flickr and Twitter.
