Dearest RIAA and Related Record Labels,
You’ll never find me posting your crap on a website so you can use the tax-payer funded FBI to be your trolls to hunt me down.Let’s make a deal, you’ll never find me buying or listening to it either.
You like to use ‘unauthorized’ leaks to your advantage to get people psyched about new albums even slightly worth a dime, but then you’ll happily sue some poor...

Smart-Ass Guide to NYC
Along with the USA version, Dan Meth has an NYC version. I like that Staten Island has question marks all over it. Kinda reminds me of when you zoom all the way out on OnNYTurf’s subway map, they have the city’s borders marked as Canada, Los Angeles, South Pole and Crazy Ocean Monsters.

Polymeme
I had it on good authority (BoingBoing) that I should be reading polymeme.com because it covers the underserved stories on the internet that are often written by the experts. However it think is more Coast to Coast AM than TED.

Demonyms
I quite recently had been looking for a term to match a definition. I knew there had to be a word that describes people from a particular country, city or region. I am usually very good at researching these topics but turned up nothing when I serched dictionaries and Google. On a recent jaunt to Wikipedia, however, paydirt! Demonym!

FIFA World Ranking Per Capita
This guy came up with a formula to skew the FIFA world rankings to account for countries with large or small populations. This punishes teams like China, USA and Brazil for being bad, mediocre and great (respectively) while having a larger pool of potential athletes to draw from and rewards teams like Croatia, Northern Ireland and Mozambique for doing well despite small populaces.
The natural...

Phelps lends a new spin to the phrase “Breakfast of Champions” by starting off his day by eating three fried-egg sandwiches loaded with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions and mayonnaise.
He follows that up with two cups of coffee, a five-egg omelet, a bowl of grits, three slices of French toast topped with powdered sugar and...

I took an hour or so and wrote a script that will go to a website, find who it’s linking to and who their links are linking to and outputs the favicons. That’s it.
Six Degrees of Celebrity Dating →
My company just finished a project for Us Weekly called Six Degrees of Celebrity Dating. You go through five levels connecting celebs who have dated each other. I helped with the interface (jQuery) and wrote the backend (CakePHP). Go play, it’s pretty fun.
Brooklyn Bus
