Google Suggest Famous

The other day my buddy Ed Kim asked me my favorite things about Google. I rattled off stuff about loving how simple and fast search and mail are. I also mentioned that I love Google Suggest.

It’s not on Google.com by default, it’s accessible at http://www.google.co.uk/webhp?hl=en&complete=1 or by just searching Google for Google Suggest and taking the first result. It’s also present in the Google Toolbar if you have it installed and is the spot I most often use it.

Google Suggest will just give you the top search requests starting with what you’ve typed in so far. Simple, but it gives a bit of insight sometimes.

…end of thought #1 onto thought #2…

The dude working on Katherine’s bike is in a band. His ex-girlfriend did the photography of his band’s album and he said she’s famous. I wasn’t doubtful, just curious. So I started typing her name ‘Lina’ … nothing. So she’s not one of the most famous Linas, but no bigs. ‘Lina S’ and bam, there was Lina Scheynius. That’s pretty good, she’s Google Suggest Famous.
