Cyclic Slums

In the face of much of the gendrification (of which I understand I do my part to perpetuate) of New York I can’t help think that one day the up and coming areas we live in will return to poverty. I have many times argued in favour of this idea that the whole thing is cyclic and it will happen many times again as its happened many times before.
