New MacBook Pros

I like the new MacBook Pros, they look great and have alot of new power inside them. I’m also really excited for the new trackpad. If I get past the next month without buying one, I may still have my current laptop for another 2 years.

However besides that I get really annoyed at pundits or people trying to be pundits about Apple when they release new stuff. There are the fan boys and girls, who will always be that way, who will gush over any small upgrade as if it were groundbreaking and speak of how the new look makes their current laptop look like a piece of crap. The latter of which I’m totally guilty of.

But then you have tech journos who act as if nothing is a big enough upgrade and yawn and talk of how disappointed they are as if they need any of the power even available in laptops five years old. They just want to seem so much smarter than anyone else and don’t want to seem weak for saying, ‘Hey, Apple did an upgrade of an old laptop and still remains generations past the nearest competitor. Looks good.’ Go ahead guys, say it, it’s true.
